Niigata has gorgeous natural landscapes and delicious food, along with historically valuable locations and culture, as well as a number of world-class industries. At this event, the speaker will introduce the attractions of Niigata.

About the Speaker

Katelyn DePalmer

Katelyn DePalmer is an American Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) at the Niigata Prefectural Government’s International Relations Division. After graduating from Florida State University with a major in Japanese, she lived in Kumamoto and Aichi prefectures before moving to Niigata City in September 2021. Although Katelyn is still new to Tohoku, she is looking forward to introducing the wonders of Niigata Prefecture in this presentation.
