About the Speaker
Emily is a JET Program Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) at the Aomori Prefectural Government Tourism Promotion and International Exchange Division. She grew up in New York and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a double major in Japanese Language & Culture and Linguistics. Though she’s still in her first year as a CIR, Emily is excited to share all the wonderful things that she has learned about Aomori since arriving in September.
