About the Event
Society 5.0 which was initiated in Japan through cooperation between industry and government seeks to leverage industrial technology (ie: Industry 4.0) to achieve the 17 sustainability goals set out by the United Nations. The use of digital technology is key to achieving Society 5.0 and each country or region of the world is pursuing this in different ways. Uemura-san will introduce Society 5.0 and highlight Mitsubishi Electric’s approach along with that of its strategic partners, focusing on Mobility, Industry, Life, and Infrastructure.
About the Speaker
Mr. Noristugu Uemura has served as Senior Executive Advisor at Agekke Corporation since May of 2022. He previously worked as a Corporate Executive, Government & External Relations at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and spent one year as President of Mitsubishi Electric Russia LLC, and 7 years as General Manager and President of Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., Russian Branch.
