Support Our Mission

The Japan America Society of Chicago creates and promotes Japanese and American friendships through business, social, educational, and cultural activities. Your support makes this work possible.

Gifts to the Society help us build meaningful connections between people, communities, and institutions across the Chicagoland region and Japan. Contributions support a wide range of programs—from student education and youth engagement to cultural events, professional exchanges, and forums that strengthen U.S.–Japan understanding and cooperation.

There are many ways to support the Society’s mission. You may choose to make a one-time gift, become a sustaining donor, contribute in honor or memory of someone special, or explore corporate and matching-gift opportunities. Every gift, at any level, helps ensure that our programs remain accessible, impactful, and forward-looking.

Together, we can continue to serve as Chicago’s bridge to Japan and foster friendships that endure across generations.

Thank you for your support!

95th Anniversary Annual Program Sponsor & Underwriter

Founded in 1930, the Japan America Society of Chicago is delighted to celebrate our 95th year. One special opportunity for organizations and individuals is to become an Annual Program Sponsor.

JASC’s Annual Sponsors receive recognition at every program and event by the Society throughout the year to an audience of several thousand individuals and corporations. They are featured

prominently on the Society website as an Annual Program Sponsor and on our large banners at significant Society events.

In a typical year, JASC delivers 30+ key programs and events and distributes regular communications to more than 2,000 individuals and companies. All sponsors are featured at the beginning of each event and on JASC emails and promotions. Our website has numerous visits throughout the year.

The job of fulfilling the purpose of our Society is made possible through our invaluable programming activities. We provide public affairs, business, educational, cultural and social programs and events throughout the year.

At the cost of $5,000, we believe an Annual Program Sponsorship is a great value for organizations and individuals to support the Society and benefit significantly from the broad exposure that accompanies Sponsorship. We believe this is a valuable advertising and marketing opportunity for our Sponsor companies over a 12-month period from July to June each year.
