ABOUT THE EVENT
Our book club focuses on highlighting voices and stories with a strong connection to Japan. For our fourth meeting we have chosen There is No Such Thing as an Easy Job. Written by Kikuko Tsumura, May’s pick is described as Convenience Store Woman meets My Year of Rest and Relaxation in this strange, compelling, darkly funny tale of one woman’s search for meaning in the modern workplace.
Be sure to pick up a copy of the book and then join us for an evening of casual discussion in a virtual space via Zoom! Registrations are limited, so grab a spot while you can!
If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you there!
