Nambu Award Program

The Nambu Award was established in commemoration of Dr. Yoichiro Nambu, Professor at the University of Chicago who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2008. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge American students living in Illinois, who excel in the area of Science. The Society works closely with the Illinois Science Olympiad, and the Nambu Committee, to choose winning teams in different categories each year.
