Easy English Book Discussion

Beginner 2 to Intermediate English Level

(Mondays 10:00 -11:00 am)

Read a classic book in easy English and discuss in class.

Journal Writing and Sharing

Beginner 2 to Intermediate English Level

(Fridays 11:00 -12:00 pm)

Learn about different types of writing like journals, fairytales ,and news stories.
Complete a weekly writing exercise and share it with your classmates.

Movie Clips, Ted Talks, News videos and Discussion

Intermediate to Advanced English Level

(Wednesdays 12:00 -1:00 pm)

Learn common phrases and naturally spoken English by watching real life
videos. Students will be given a short video clip to study before class. In class, we will
talk about the clip and review useful words and expressions.

Instructors

Ms. Diana Keider: Diana has been teaching ESL for over twenty years and is the founder and Director of ESL Associates, a language training service specializing in one on one instruction and small groups with offices in Schaumburg and Lincolnshire. Diana is the main supervisor for all classes.

Ms. Audrey Colby: Audrey is a certified ESL instructor with many years experience teaching ESL including teaching English to International Students at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has a PhD from Northwestern University and Master’s degree from Massachusetts College of Art.
