About the Event

Political dynamics, socio-economic pressures and the COVID-19 crisis has upended established trends of consumer demand, value creation, capital investment and the global manufacturing competitiveness. Daron Gifford will discuss the manufacturing outlook and landscape for the major manufacturing sectors. In this outlook, companies can establish a strategy to defend against the known. However, in a world where competitive threats are volatile, an offensive strategy to prepare to grow in adverse times is best positioned to have the right market diversification and corporate capacity and capability to thrive in the future.

Key to an offensive strategy is aligning the supporting supply chain with the right manufacturing and service capabilities and cost structures. Dave Andrea will discuss establishing the right customer-supplier relationships to respond to an increasingly volatile business environment. Based on 20-years of survey data, Andrea will discuss business-to-business trust and how these bonds create the greatest flexibility and minimum risk to thrive going forward.
