Located in central Japan\, the prefecture is easily accessible from major international airports. \nAbout the Speaker\nTala Karmy-Jones is an American Coordinator for International Relations at the Mie Prefectural Government’s Diversity Promotion Division. Tala moved to Mie in 2021 after graduating from the University of Washington with a double degree in Anthropology and Japanese Language.
