SUMMARY:2023 Illinois Japan Bowl
DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nThe 2023 Illinois Japan Bowl\, sponsored by the Japan America Society of Chicago\, will be held on Sunday\, February 26\, 2023 at North Central College from 10:00 – 2:30 pm. The Illinois Japan Bowl is an academic competition which covers a wide range of topics that tests high school students who are studying the Japanese language across the state of Illinois. The competition tests not only their knowledge of the language\, but also their understanding of traditional and modern Japan. \nStudents must currently be enrolled in Level 2\,3 or 4 Japanese in order to participate. Level 1 students may also participate in a practice competition. \nThe public is welcome to attend the Opening Ceremony from 10:00-10:30 am and/or the Closing Ceremony from 1:30-2:30 pm.
