Mr. Kawamura will talk about the serious impact that will affect our socioeconomic activities, under the current status of energy and natural resources.  Why are gas prices so high? What can we all collectively do to make a difference in the world? What is the future outlook? What alternative energy resources are available? Mr. Kawamura’s findings are a result of historical trends on energy and natural resource development, through his vast experience at Mitsubishi International Corporation.

Mr. Yoshihiko Kawamura currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Chicago Branch and Regional Head of the Midwest Block, Mitsubishi International Corporation. In 2003, Mr. Kawamura assumed the position of General Manager of IT, Electronics, Aerospace and Defense Business Group CEO Office at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo. In 2004, he assumed the role of General Manager and Executive Assistant to the New Business Initiative Group CEO. Mr. Kawamura received a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, and a Masters of Science in Economics and Masters of Philosophy in International Relations, from the University of Cambridge.
